Blanchard Perez Cava is born from passion and tradition, crafted through the classic traditional method. Each bottle carries the patience of long aging and the dedication of artisans who believe that true elegance comes from respecting both nature and time.

The vines that create our base wines are located between Central and Alt Penedès, where the climate is typical Mediterranean with warm summers and mild winters besides a lot of sunshine exposure which ensures optimal veraison of the grapes. The annual average rainfall is 525 mm (around 30 days per year). The result is a real paradise for grape-growing.
Since the grapes come from diverse climatic areas, we are presented with different profiles which translate into a greater complexity and depth in the wine. The soils where we grow our grapes, are calcareous of shallow depth, scarce organic matter and of good water retention.

Macabeo
The vineyards are located around the town of Vilafranca del Penedès, an area historically dedicated to the production of this variety. It has an average yield of 10.000kg/ha, producing grapes of great concentration and good acidity.

Xarel·lo
We grow this variety in vineyards located around the winery. The area is perfect for Xarel·lo, as it’s comprised by rich and vigorous soils.

Parellada
Located in Alt Penedes, in high altitude is where this variety shows its best. Elegant wines, aromatic and with medium structure.
